Dear friend,
In less than a two weeks the time has come … we may welcome the international YAPers for the first time in the history of 41 Club Netherlands. 41 Club Steenwijk and Roermond welcome four YAPers from South Africa and Malta on Thursday 5 July.
By this mail we would like to inform you all about the thing that the YAPers during their stay in the Netherlands are going to experience. And we wish everyone a fantastic MID Europe YAP Tour. The YAP team of 41 Club Steenwijk and Roermond is currently working on the final preparations and the program is complete. Please read below the complete program:

Thursday 5 July to Monday 9 July
Thursday, July 5
We start the tour by picking up of YAPers and have joint lunch with the Belgian 41 club in Liege
Then we leave for Roermond where the Host families will welcome them. In the evening, there is a Welcome Party organized by the 41 club Roermond.
Friday, July 6
After a good night’s rest with the host family, we leave for Amsterdam. There we will visit the Anne Frank House, make a cruise through the canals of Amsterdam and walking quietly through Amsterdam. Of course we will also introduce them to the Febo phenomenon and we will eat pancakes. In the afternoon we will visit Volendam. There we will make a group photo in traditional costume and we will eat a typical dutch fish the “haring”. To conclude a cultural day we go via the Afsluitdijk to Steenwijk. There the YAPers receive a warm welcome from the 41ers, Tablers and hostfamilies from Steenwijk and we go downtown to enjoy a delicious dinner and a fine evening in Steenwijk.
Saturday, July 7
After a good breakfast at the host families, the YAPers will be taken to Giethoorn. There we will explore the waters in and around Giethoorn by boat. For lunch we will moor at one of Giethoorn’s cosiest brasseries. Then, in the afternoon, continue to explore the area and get acquainted with the Venice of the North. In the late afternoon we leave for Roermond where we spend the evening with 41ers and Tablers while enjoying good food and drinks. We close that day in the nightlife of Roermond.
Sunday, July 8
Today we will explore Roermond and surroundings by bike. We let the YAPers become acquainted with the rich cultural history. We will climb the tower of the cathedral and visit the old suburb. We will enjoy this in a burgundy manner and play a local neighborhood game in the evening sun.
Monday 9 July
The last day already. The Yapers slowly prepare for their return home. But not before they have a final brunch and visited the Designer Outlet Roermond.
